NOTE: AS OF AUGUST 1, 2024 THERE IS A $500 MINIMUM ESTIMATED TOTAL VALUE FOR YOUR COLLECTION TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CASH (RATHER THAN CREDIT) PAYOUT. ALL TRADES IN EXCESS OF $250 REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT.

Trading for store credit will ALWAYS get you better value than trading for cash. We generally offer cash at 50% or better and credit at 60% or better but pricing varies based on a multitude of factors. We encourage you to ask questions when we make our offer if the number is not what you expect. Cards valued between $1 and $3 are usually purchased at a reduced rate, and cards under $1 are almost always priced as bulk.

If you want to ship us a trade in, please build your collection on TCGPlayer and email us your list for a tentative offer. Once we have received your items and verified your list is accurate, we will send you payment via check or EFT.

OTHER SERVICES

Appraisal

Whether you found a shoebox full of you-don’t-know-what at a yard sale or you’ve been holding onto a miscut Worldwake Jayce for the better part of a decade, we’ll find the best possible comps so you know exactly what you have and exactly how much to ask for it. This service begins at $30/hour, a fee which is waived if you opt to use our services to sell your items when we are finished.

Consignment

This is typically reserved for situations where you are looking to sell cards that are worth a large sum of money and/or are especially unique. We will let you know if this is an appropriate option for your trade in.

sorting Services

We offer several services to help organize your collection. All rates are priced per 1,000 cards.

Sift - $12

We sift your collection for you! You will be returned your bulk in one pile and all of your cards over the value threshold of your choice when we are finished. (Lorcana, Pokemon, and Magic the Gathering ONLY)

Alphabetize - $20

We alphabetize your collection and return it to you cleanly sorted. (Lorcana, One Piece, Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and UniVersus ONLY)

Sort by Set + Alphabetize - $30

We will not only alphabetize your cards, but we will sort them in chronological or alphabetical set order for you! (Lorcana, One Piece, Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and UniVersus ONLY)

Sort by Set + Alphebetize & Sift - $40

We will alphabetize your entire collection and return it to you cleanly sorted, and also sift and catalog all cards over a value threshold of your choosing! (Lorcana, Pokemon, and Magic the Gathering ONLY)

other notes:

  • We find that buy lists often result in outdated prices, and can set unreasonable expectations that we are actively seeking certain cards and do not want others. For those reasons, we do not have one.

  • Similarly, since we are not specifically seeking any card, we ask that you know what you are interested in selling BEFORE you bring your cards into the store. We will not cherry-pick from binders, boxes, or a giant pile.

  • We strongly encourage you to do your own research, unless you are hiring us to appraise your collection, so you have an idea of whether you feel our offer is reasonable.

  • If you feel our offer is unreasonable, please say so BEFORE we have completed our transaction. You won’t hurt our feelings.

  • If, at any point in the process you have questions, please ask them.

  • Trade ins should be submitted in boxes, without sleeves, and with a reasonable effort to separate value over $1 from true bulk.

  • In cases where thousands of cards are submitted in binders or sleeves, and where no attempt has been made to delineate between bulk and non-bulk, we deduct 10% from our offer to cover the additional labor.

  • If you have a very large quantity of bulk, we may be willing to come pick it up within a 5 hour driving radius (CT, MA, NH, NY, NJ, PA).
